Georgie is an award-winning TV and Radio broadcaster appearing on the likes of BBC 5Live, Sky Sports and talkRADIO. Starting her career as a sports journalist at the Guardian Media Group in the North East, Georgie moved to the BBC where she began hosting radio sports shows. Georgie began to present her own daily finance-based talk radio show in 2014, being named financial broadcaster of the year within 18 months and later named in the top 5 best new presenters in the UK at the APAs. Georgie has written for the Financial Times, the Sunday Times and The Daily Mail and appeared as a sport and financial commentator in every national newspaper as well as on ITV and BBC 1, plus regional and national radio stations.
She has written and hosted the MailOnline's personal finance and investing podcast, This is Money, for the last five years, taking it to top 5 Business podcasts on itunes. At the start of 2019, Georgie launched a business of sport podcast with the MailOnline, This is Moneyball, which has featured guests including boxer Amir Khan, former England cricket captain, Sir Andrew Strauss, England footballer Shaun Wright Philips, GB tennis player Marcus Willis, QPR boss Mark Warburton and CEO of BHAFC Paul Barber.
Alongside her broadcast and journalism work, Georgie is also an experienced event host and speaker.
Georgie is passionate about encouraging more girls into sport and decided to take a Level One FA Coaching badge. She now coaches a local team in London and has worked with Chelsea FC Foundation
